If you have served federal active duty in the United States Armed Forces during any of the war eras listed below, and have been honorably discharged or are still serving -- you are eligible for membership in The American Legion!

*Because eligibility dates remain open, all members of the U.S. Armed Forces are eligible to join The American Legion at this time, until the date of the end of hostilities as determined by the government of the United States.
U.S. Merchant Marine eligible only from December 7, 1941 to December 31, 1946 (WWII).
Rayson-Miller Post 899 membership meetings are the fourth Wednesday every month, with exception to the months of July and December. We start our meetings at 6:00 P.M. Social Hour (with light meal), 7:00 P.M. General Meeting till around 8:30am.
Officers meetings are the third Wednesday of every month with exception to the months of July and December.
Our post holds a December Christmas luncheon buffet normally at the Post home and in January, a New Year's brunch at a local country club, which includes a presentation. These dates vary and are always posted on our Event Calendar.
