If you have served at least one day of active military duty since December 7, 1941 and were honorably discharged or you are still serving active military duty honorably, you are eligible for membership with The American Legion.
This page will explain how to JOIN Rayson-Miller Post 899, how to RENEW your membership with Rayson-Miller Post 899, and how to TRANSFER your present American Legion membership to our Rayson-Miller Post 899 and change your personal contact information. We have made this as simple as possible, however if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact either via phone or email.
If you wish to join our Post, download the Application Form (click the form image) or obtain an Application Form from our post.
Fill out the Application Form, and email it with a copy of your DD-214 Discharge papers, with the Social Security Number blocked out, to RaysonMiller899.

You can also visit the post on Tuesday mornings for our breakfast. Our kitchen is open from 8:00am to 9:15am. You will be able to meet some of our members and find out what we do and our involvement in Community, Youth and Supporting Veterans.

Please note: If you are looking to renew 1 year only, please wait until after July 1. Presently mylegion.org is looking for members to paid 3 years at the $150.00 deal.
Use this form to TRANSFER your membership to Rayson-Miller Post 899 or report a multiple number of contact information changes to help us keep the American Legion databases up to date.
If you wish to transfer your membership to our Post or make any contact information changes, download the Member Data Form by clicking the form image, or obtain the Member Data Form from our post. Make sure your dues are current. You must be paid for the current year or a PUFL valid membership to be able to transfer. If you have questions whether you are paid or not, please call 585-789-1538, leave us a message, and our group administrator will get back to you in 24 to 48 hours.

If your dues are current, simply fill out the Member Data Form, and email the transfer form and a copy of your DD-214 discharge papers with the SSN blocked out, to RaysonMiller899. We will take care of transferring your membership with the Department and American Legion National. You will receive a new membership card.
